MetaRising against Climate Change

The 28th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 28) to the UNFCCC is scheduled to take place from 6–17 November 2023. It will take place in the United Arab Emirates. In sync with this ocassion, MetaRising which has been a pioneer in taking actions against climate change is reiterating it’s stand for protection of our Earth.

Steps taken by MetaRising to cop with the evil of global warming-

1. C2E
Clean to Earn is an industry first initiative launched, tried and promoted by MetaRising. Clean to Earn is the process in which players can earn by playing the game. Players can obtain carbon credits, which can be used to reduce carbon emissions in the real world. As carbon emissions are reduced, players are rewarded in the process.

2. Microtuber Seeds
Microtuber believes in sustainable agriculture i.e. taking care of needs of present generation without hampering the resources of upcoming generation. Hence Microtuber have produced and is constantly developing seeds that requires less fertilizers and produce more yield. This in turn puts less burden on Earth, provides more food and at the same time is less polluting.

3. Organic Fertilizers
Microtuber also develops organic fertilizers that are not only safe for Earth but also for humans. They increase the nutritive value of crops. Apart from tons of other benefits organic fertilizers are less polluting and hence help in combating global warming.

4. Promoting EV
With growing population, demand for vehicles and ultimately demand for fossil fuels are increasing on a rapid rate. Fossil fuels apart from being limited in nature cause a lot of pollution and are a major reason for climate change. MetaRising doesn’t claim to change the whole world but even if we are successful in changing a small portion of it we will be doing our bit for the Earth.
